Ekumene is an initiative of Circuito Electrovisiones that consists a nomadic space of workshops and projects focused on development of electronic art and multimedia experimentation.
Ekumene aims at being a leader in Mexico known for providing specialized education in digital art and multimedia experimentation, encouraging inter-institutional connections that support its development, production and positioning both nationally and internationally.
Ekumene creates new audience through activities and proposes the use of technological equipment in social development. It aims at being a research center recognized for its ethical and social actions that concern the development, distribution, international agreements and positioning of digital art.
