From the beginning, our work has been focused into visualize, promote and encourage the audiovisual culture in the world, with a particular attention to Barcelona, where we live. Our goal is to actively connect all those realities that compose the audiovisual field such as city centers, cultural space, groups, well-known and emerging artists, schools …

To BIT or not to BEAT consists in a audiovisual jam session circuit, based on the improvised performance and synergies between DJs and VJs that do live performance. that picks up the idea of improvised jam session of jazz music, where musicians met in the night bars and began to play each one with his style until they found along the performance a unique and unrepeatable fusion.

The main objective of to BIT or not to BEAT is to create a circuit of events that will interest audiovisual arts centers, clubs and cultural venues in the city of Barcelona. This is not an occasional event, but a network. A network requires the active participation of its all components: artists, production and exhibition centers, public and professionals involved.

Because of this we met with the crowdfunding, new form of self-financing based on the conscious contribution of users, who have become patrons: not only famous brands that invest much money but many small contributions from users that choose to participate actively in the creative process not only as viewers.
