Mixtur is a collective formed in Barcelona with the aim of contributing to the creation, pedagogy and diffusion of today’s music, engaged with research, both related to the sound itself and it’s interaction with other disciplines.

Col·lectiu Mixtur, in collaboration with Fabra & Coats – Fàbrica de Creació has made an open call for the selection of multidisciplinary artistic works in which sound, understood in a broad sense, plays an important role.

The event’s fundamental themes are music research, installation, dance and video creation.

La Caputxeta Galáctica is a psychotropic version of the tale of Little Red Riding Hood, meanwhile also drawing parallels with the arrival of man on the moon, with both acting as metaphors for a journey of initiation.

Pluto 2012 is an audiovisual festival. It wants to provide a stage for audiovisual, performance and new media artists.

The festival encourages artists working with novel performance technologies and a multidisciplinary contemporary approach.

More than ever, the focus is on the synergy between audio and visual found in performances, video installations, VJ’ing, new media, etc. The innovative use of multi and new media is key and will set the tone throughout the festival.

Pluto 2012 wants to link sound and vision as beneficial and exciting as possible for both the audience and the contributors. By means of setting up a series of sessions, artists are encouraged to collaborate on projects for and during the festival, providing an optimal festival setting.

The International Meeting of Multimedia Arts (RIAM) takes place in Marseille. It is an initiative of the non-profit association “Technè”. RIAM choses not to make of “digital arts” an independent area, but to establish an animated dialog with other experimental and innovative artistic forms.

They put the accent on a limited artist’s selection, to whom they bring a substantial support to the spreading and the production, presenting them in different spaces.

They are also concerned by the importance of building networks of organisations, places and artists, not only in our artistic field, but in the one that includes the latest ideas in the current of artistic and theoretical stakes. The pourpose is to stimulate a dialog about both the ethical and esthetical questions up by the new technologies.

Beyond a large work of diffusion, they focus on the support of the artists’ production  creating a dialog and a real synergy that brings artists, works, audience, and organizations together and that connects the RIAM to the creating networks already existing.

Flussi is an international new media arts and digital culture festival, which is held every year in Avellino, a southern Italy town enclosed between the Campanian Apennines.

Through a targeted selection of national and international artists, the event will offer particular points of view as well as overviews of the contemporary art scene, looking for trends, drifts and trials of making art in the era of advanced media.

Flussi is a multidisciplinary platform that includes everything from the sections devoted to different languages ​​of contemporary art: visual performance, sound art, experimental music, interactive installations etc. It is an open space for comparison, analysis and critical reflection on art and new technologies that offer training courses on the creative use of software, debates and conferences on topical issues related to digital culture.

313RGB’s approach combines three disciplines: art direction, production design and AV (Audio-Visual) based performance. Their philosophy is to tightly integrate these elements to deliver real-time, immersive and responsive experiences.

They created (with the support of Arcadi) Euphorie, an audiovisual performance that reconsiders the guitar hero myth by replacing the old device with “neon guitars”. Both intimate and surprising, Euphorie plays on the spectator experiences in contemporary theater as well as in electronic music offering the audience a brand new approach.
