The current situation in the electronic scene in our environment is richer than ever. Labels, clubs, record stores, which offer direct local music, printed and electronic publications, workshops, lectures… his situation occurs more in the most important festivals, and if it is true that every time there is a greater commitment, there has been no case of any festival or event that contains medium-scale exclusive artists who develop their activity in Catalonia.

Under this prism, and as individuals sensitized to the issue, we decided to organize a meeting between authorities mentioned the intention to change this dynamic. The idea is that each party offers what he has: the musicians present their work, the labels their projects and clubs give their space.

Is born, the «Cau d’Orella Association» for develop «Caudorella: Jornades de Música Electrònica» the meeting with the primary intention of generating new strategies to expand the local electronic music scene in all aspects of art. «Caudorella: Jornades de Música Electrònica» aims to bridge the gap between the producers of electronic music produced in Catalonia and the general public.

We propose a forum for exchange of ideas between artists, labels, distributors, associations and promoters, so that those ideas did not go unnoticed in their home, establishing a direct and easy communication between all stakeholders in order to make closer and the product accessible to the general public. We started this process to consolidate a structure capable of outputting a native new creations, designed to strengthen a new generation of cultural niche.
